Ingredients
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of cream (300g)
- 1/2 cup passion fruit juice concentrate (about 2 passion fruit, large, or 200 ml of fruit juice concentrate)
- 1 packet of gelatin powder, without flavor (12g)
- 1/4 cup water (to dissolve gelatin.)
- The pulp of 2 passion fruit (or 1 cup of the pulp from passion fruit)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Preparation:
- In a small container, apply on the gelatin powder in water for about 5 minutes. Then, bake in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to dissolve it completely (or heat it in a bain-marie) and set it aside.
- In a blender, place the can of condensed milk, sour cream, and passion fruit juice. Beat well until the mixture is smooth.
- With the blender on, add the gelatin is dissolved, and mix for a few more seconds in which to incorporate as well.
- Pour the mixture into individual bowls or in a refrigerator is large.
- Leave in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until the mousse is firm.
- In a saute pan, then place the pulp of the fruit, sugar and water.
- Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture reduces slightly and thickens (about 10-15 minutes). The mixture should be a little thicker, but still liquid.
- Allow it to cool down completely before you use it.
- Just before serving, place a spoonful of the syrup and fruit over each bowl as desired.
- Decorate it up with some seeds and fruit, if desired, for an extra touch of flavor, and appearance.
