Does it have to be just for that birthday party? Of course not! Party sweets are our weakness and it's very hard to find someone who doesn't like at least one brigadeiro, right? Over time, sweets have gained new shapes, new compositions and today they have become more delicious gourmet. We almost never find that famous "eye of mother-in-law" anymore, but on the other hand, we have, for example, the dulce de leite ninho which has become a craze at celebrations out there. Learn this recipe and put it in p

Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 cup of powdered milk (Leite Ninho or similar)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Crystal sugar or powdered milk to coat the sweets

Preparation:

  • In a medium saucepan, place the condensed milk, butter and powdered milk. If desired, add vanilla essence for a special touch.
  • Place the pan over medium heat and stir constantly. The goal is to cook the mixture until it comes away from the bottom of the pan, forming a consistent dough. This usually takes 8 to 10 minutes.
  • When the mixture starts to come away from the bottom of the pan and is ready to roll, remove from the heat and transfer to a greased plate. Let it cool a little to make it easier to handle.
  • With greased hands (or using a teaspoon), take small portions of the dough and make balls the size of a walnut.
  • Roll the balls in granulated sugar or more powdered milk, depending on your preference.
  • Place the sweets in paper cups or on a plate and serve!
