- 1 spoon (tea) of vanilla extract (optional)
Preparation:
1. Prepare the dough
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a baking pan with butter and flour (the traditional one has a hole in the middle).
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light.
- Add the oil, milk and vanilla and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour sifted with the salt, stirring until smooth.
- Gently stir in the yeast.
- Finally, carefully mix in the chocolate sprinkles so that they are evenly distributed without melting.
2. Bake the cake
- Pour the batter into the prepared tin.
- Bake for about 35 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown and the toothpick test is successful.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool and unmold.
Special Tips
- To prevent the sprinkles from sinking, quickly dust them with a little flour before mixing them into the dough.
- It's delicious with a soft brigadeiro topping or a simple chocolate syrup.
- You can also replace some of the milk with coconut milk for a special touch.
