Ingredients
- 1 jar of plain yogurt (170g), or the Greek
- 1 cup (tea) of sugar
- 1/2 cup (tea) of vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon (soup) baking powder
- 1 spoon (tea) of vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to to 356 °F. Butter and flour in a shape of 22 cm in diameter, or line it with baking paper.
- In a blender or in a bowlbeat in the yogurt, sugar, oil and eggs until you get a homogeneous mixture. If you are using vanilla extract, add it to this point in time, and stir to combine.
- Sift together the whole wheat flourthe baking powder and salt over the mixture of a liquid. Stir with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon until the dough is well incorporated and smooth. Do not mix old and too much of it.
- Pour the batter into in the prepared pan and bake in the oven. Bake in the oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

- Icing sugar: Sprinkle confectioners ' sugar over the top of the cake-cool for a easy and elegant look.
- Frosting: Make icing by mixing 1 cup of powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of water or lemon juice until you get a creamy consistency. Spread it on the cake is already cold.
- Fruit: - Add fresh fruit or a compote of fresh fruit on top of the cake for an extra touch of flavor.
