Here is a classic recipe and a delicious chocolate cake with a cover. Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1 ½ cup (tea) of sugar
  • 1 cup (tea) of wheat flour
  • ½ cup (tea) of cocoa powder (non-chocolate)
  • 1 spoon (tea) of baking powder
  • 1 spoon (tea) of baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (tea) of milk
  • ½ cup (tea) of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons (tea) vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (tea) of hot water (not boiling)

Cover for (Chocolate Ganache):

  • 200 g of chocolate in the middle and bitter
  • 1 box of cream (200 g)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

Prepare the Cake:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to to 356 °F. Butter and flour a round shape of 22 cm in diameter, or line it with baking paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir to combine.
  3. Add in the eggsthe milk, oil and vanilla extract. Mix until the dough is well-combined and smooth.
  4. Add the hot water to the batter, mixing well. The dough will be a little watery, but that is normal.
  5. Pour the batter into in the prepared pan and bake in the oven. Bake in the oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
  6. Pull it out of the oven and let it stand in the way for about 10 minutes. Then unmold and cool completely on wire racks.

Ready Coverage

  1. In a small sauce panwarm the heavy cream until it starts to release the steam (do not boil).
  2. Turn off the heat and to add to the chocolate, half-bitter, finely chopped. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the cream is smooth.

  4. Allow the ganache to cool down a little before spreading on the cake.
