That is a soup of beans? For the bean it is part of our day-to-day life. Ingredients

  • 2 cups of dry beans (black, dinner or the one you want), let it soak for 8 hours or more
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 large carrot, chopped into small cubes
  • 2 medium potatoes, chopped into small cubes
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 chorizo sausage, smoked sausage or bacon (optional), peeled, cut into chunks
  • 1 litre of chicken or vegetable (you can use water)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin (optional)
  • Parsley, chopped, to the end

Preparation:

  • Drain the beans and it was from the sauce and set aside.
  • In a large saute pan, heat the olive oil or olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the onion and garlic and sauté over medium heat until lightly browned and aromatic.
  • If you are using sausage or bacon, add it now and stir-fry until they are nicely browned.

  • Add the beans, green beans, carrots, potatoes, and bay leaf.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Pour in the chicken stock, or vegetable (or water) of the ingredients in the bowl.
  • Raise the heat and bring the soup to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the pan and cook, covered, for about 30 to 40 minutes, or until the beans and vegetables are tender. Stir it from time to time.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and cumin (if using).
  • If you want a soup that's more exclusive, you can knead the dough portion of the beans with a fork, or use a mix of the immersion process, partly to the soup.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning, if necessary.
  • Turn off the heat and add the parsley, chopped.
  • Serve the soup hot, with rice or bread, if you like.
